IMA Proud Sponsor of the Wufong Project
In Motion Asia is proud to be a sponsor of the Wufong Project raising money for a new community center for members of the Atayal community in ChingChuan, Hsinchu County, Taiwan.
During the period 2005-2009, In Motion Asia frequently visited the village of ChingChuan to access the trailhead for the legendary Stone Deer Trail, an epic 40km mountain biking trail through Taiwan's Central Mountain Range, that has unfortunately suffered typhoon damage in recent years and for a large portion is now unridable. Having enjoyed the wonderful community and hospitality in ChingChuan we are proud to contribute to this project.
In Motion Asia donated NTD$10,000 to this worthwhile cause which culminated with a Fundraiser Auction Event on Saturday November 19th, 2011 at the The Pavilion of Aroma of Flowers in Taipei.
The fundraising auction, together with sponsors support, was a hugh success raising the targeted NTD$2.1m to fund the construction of the new community center. Construction will start in the spring of 2012.
